How to use Velouria’s Tarot

Tarot is broken into two categories – the major arcana and minor arcana. The major arcana is comprised of 22 cards. It chronicles the journey of The Fool, the first card of the tarot, through all of life’s major themes such as self-reliance, divine intuition, and vital movement. When a major arcana card shows up in your reading, it’s an important message and should be considered especially carefully.

The minor arcana is comprised of 56 cards, broken into four suits that represent the four elements. In this deck, those suits are swords (air), wands (fire), cups (water), and crystals (earth). While these cards are also important, they represent more nuanced themes that impact our day-to-day lives, such as creative endeavors, finances, and people.
